Four people are staring at the same wall. The color is pure, bright white. Each man has on a different style of tinted glasses. The man with red glasses sees a wall that is pink. The woman with the blue glasses sees a navy wall. The woman with emerald colored lenses swears that the wall is green and the man with the brown shades sees tan.
Which is right?
All and none…Each is correct from his or her own perspective, but none is correct. The truth is that THE WALL IS WHITE!
Each person would probably be willing to argue their respective points. They might become offended that others did not see things their way. They might hurt others to prove what was so real to them. They might die to prove their point.
The problem…THE WALL IS WHITE!
Each of us sees life through a set of filters. These filters are created through many things…culture, race, gender, stature, status, fears, wounds and more. The perceptions that we see life through form OUR reality of life…a reality which may not really be REALITY at all.
That’s why the greatest teacher of all time said, “You shall know the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall set your free.
Personal growth cannot occur until we are willing to examine the glasses through which we interpret our circumstance. The perspective that we see life from will literally create our tomorrows. So breakthrough begins with humility.
The question to ask yourself then is this. Are you willing to open your heart to the possibility that you might need to adjust your perception? Is it time to get a new pair of glasses? More on that at another time.

I have heard the word “humility” explained many times over by many different people with many different views. Maybe the problem in today’s Church is that we don’t know the “Truth” definition of humility itself. Even 4 types of glasses will not do a spiritual blind man any good until his eyes are opened about humility ……
Again, I want to commend you for your efforts. This is fantastic stuff, even the “timeline” and layout of it all is surely blessed/anointed ……. Never seen anything like it!
